This role will ensure timely and accurate review, approval, posting and payment of travel & expenses reports for The Coca Cola Company (TCCC) employees with focus on Executives. Responsibilities includes decision to approve allowable or reject non-allowable travel expenses in line with Company policies and procedures, monitor card activities, balances and follow up with cardholder regarding outstanding issues. Additionally, you will maintain positive relationships with customers and apply customer service skills in a manner that defuses emotional customer interactions in both a verbal and written context.
What You’ll Do for Us
Verify and approve electronically received expense reports in accordance with agreed service standards and ensuring compliance to T&E (Travel & Expense) Policy. Review attached images and itineraries for clarity and entry verification. Collect any missing or unclear items and attach to reports Daily monitoring and correction of import/Export errors and provide root cause analyses.
Manage Exception Approval Requests to Global Process Owner for expense reports when necessary.
Follow up on queries for report statuses. Provide guidance on processing expense reports, travel expense policies and statement reconciliations.
Provide support to escalations, controls and special ad-hoc processes.
Apply operational excellence/lean tools to make continuous improvements to processes.
Participate in training to new joiners.
Qualification & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree, can be Finance related, Accounting, Business Administration, etc preferred.
3+ years of experience in a finance environment
Proficiency with ERP computer systems.
Analytical skills and capabilities.
Intermediate to advanced Excel, skills.
Ability to compare data from various data sources and identify inconsistencies or variances.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written. A second language is a plus (such as Portuguese, Russian, Chinese or Japanese)
Attention to detail, inquisitive mind-set.
Ability to work across multiple levels within the organization. Strong integrity and ability to handle sensitive situations discreetly.
