Position Overview:
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backbone of Oncoshot’s platform. You will lead the development of scalable and high-performance backend systems, ensuring robust communication across multiple cloud providers while adhering to industry-leading security and compliance standards. Your role will focus on optimizing performance for large healthcare datasets and building secure, cloud-agnostic APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and develop scalable backend systems using .NET Core, focusing on high-performance APIs and data exchanges
  • Design secure data pipelines and backend solutions that scale across AWS, GCP, and Azure
  • Optimize PostgreSQL databases to efficiently manage complex healthcare data
  • Ensure high performance, security, and compliance (HIPAA, GDPR) in handling sensitive patient information
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, data scientists, and DevOps engineers to deliver cohesive platform functionality
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core
  • Extensive experience building scalable APIs and working with high-volume data
  • Proven expertise in PostgreSQL database architecture and optimization
  • Experience working in multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) with a focus on secure data handling
  • In-depth understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and cloud security best practices
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Experiences with coding standards in healthcare (RxNorm, ICD10, SNOMED-CT, LOINC, HGVS nomenclature and interoperability standards (FHIR and HL7)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $7,000.00 - $10,000.00 per month

  • Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
