Senior Bartender

Job Title: Full-Time Bartender

Location: Carlow
Schedule: Wednesdays to Sundays (Full-Time)
Reports to: Manager/Owner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to take full ownership of our bar operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience, deep knowledge of mixology, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. This is a hands-on, senior-level role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including wines, beers, and custom signature cocktails.
• Oversee the complete setup and breakdown of the bar before and after service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation throughout the bar area, ensuring all records and checklists are properly completed.
• Manage all aspects of bar stock, including ordering, receiving, and liaising with suppliers.
• Ensure smooth daily operations of the bar, including inventory control, cleanliness, and equipment readiness.
• Collaborate with the restaurant team to support overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as required by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior bartender, supervisory, or bar management role.
• Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to prioritise tasks, delegate responsibilities, and lead by example.
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and mixology techniques.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for developing unique, house-made cocktails.
• Reliable, professional, and available to work full-time

Pay: From €14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 9 per week
