ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Senior Manager of Cloud Infrastructure to lead and inspire our world-class infrastructure team. You will be responsible for the heartbeat of our company: the production systems that keep our services running 24/7.
Leading a distributed team of 10+ highly skilled engineers you will balance technical oversight with strategic leadership.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a high-performing, cross-border team. You’ll foster a culture of excellence, high availability, and continuous learning.
- Production Excellence: Take ownership of our 24/7 production environment - ensuring our Cloud, Kubernetes, Database, and Network layers are resilient and performant.
- Strategy & Roadmap: Define the technical vision. You will develop long-term roadmaps for our infrastructure to ensure it scales with the business.
- Business Oversight: Manage vendor relationships, oversee procurement, and keep a sharp eye on budget management and IT infrastructure costs.
- Project Delivery: Lead complex infrastructure projects from initial concept to successful implementation, ensuring they hit milestones on time and on budget.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Leadership First: You have a proven track record of managing technical teams. You know how to lead "up" to stakeholders and "down" to engineers with clarity and empathy.
- The Technical Core: While this is a leadership role, you should be comfortable in architectural discussions involving Cloud providers, K8s, networking, and database scaling.
- Operational Grit: You understand the weight of 24/7 production systems and have experience building the processes (Incident/Change management) that protect them.
- Strategic Thinker: You can translate business needs into technical roadmaps and manage the budgets/vendors required to get there.
- Exceptional Communicator: You can explain complex infrastructure challenges to non-technical stakeholders and keep a distributed team aligned across different regions.
