Senior Engineering Project Manager

We are looking for a Consultant – Senior Engineering Project Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Project Manager (consultant) to lead complex engineering projects related to process equipment, infrastructure upgrades, and the implementation of new production technologies.

The consultant will be responsible for managing projects end-to-end—from early concept and design through execution and final delivery—ensuring high standards in quality, compliance, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource strategies

• Ensure successful project delivery on time, within scope, and within budget

• Perform technical analyses and present solution concepts with clear trade-offs

• Manage changes in scope, schedule, and cost using structured methodologies

• Establish and maintain quality standards aligned with industry best practices and GMP

• Allocate and manage project resources (personnel, equipment, budget) effectively

• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle

• Ensure structured project closure, including documentation and knowledge transfer

• Contribute to the integration of new technologies in production lines

• Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing across the organization

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering

• 5–7 years of experience as a Project Manager within engineering, manufacturing, or pharma

• Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects

• Strong project management skills (planning, prioritization, documentation)

• Experience with MS Project and MS Office tools

• PMP / PMI certification or equivalent is an advantage

• Knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical regulations is highly desirable

• Excellent communication skills in English and Norwegian (written and spoken)
