Cytiva’s Resins & Technology Business develops, manufactures and sells Chromatography resins used in Biopharmaceuticals worldwide. Our Operations are based on manufacturing facilities in Uppsala and Copenhagen. We are also building a plant in Michigan, USA.

The Business is supported by a compact Finance team of 7, mainly based in Uppsala. We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager reporting to the global Finance Director, Resins Operations.You will serve as business partner, and along with the Leadership team(s) will have ownership and accountability for the financial results of the operations.

What you will do:

  • Copenhagen plant: full responsibility as business partner for annual budgets, monthly forecasting and reporting for P/L, capex, inventory, costing etc. Drive productivity analysis and partner with Site Leadership team to deliver improvements.
  • Uppsala site services (facilities, maintenance, utilities, solvent recovery etc): responsibility as business partner for P/L forecasting and reporting. Drive productivity analysis and partner with Leadership team to deliver improvements.
  • Inventory: develop and deliver insightful reporting and forecasting for inventory levels. Work with planning teams to identify opportunities for inventory reduction and deliver on these. Monitor inventory ‘health’ (appropriate provisioning, cycle count / verification etc)
  • Product Standard Costing (Uppsala + Copenhagen): lead the annual exercise for setting product costs and ‘rolling’ the impacts into the P/L in a controlled and transparent manner.
  • General/Projects: provide analysis for a wide variety of areas within Operations and Finance. Participate in and lead improvement projects.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • 7-10 years Finance experience, including 5 years working in large / international organizations - developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business / finance reviews.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data and provide actionable insights
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and business intelligence systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, Onestream, Qliksense, PowerBI)
  • Strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros)
  • Fluent in English and Swedish

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience with Supply Chain finance discipline including plant financials, productivity, inventory, capacity, PP&E is desirable
