At Medtronic you can begin a life-long career of exploration and innovation, while helping champion healthcare access and equity for all. You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.

A Day in the Life

The Medtronic Clinical and Regulatory Solutions (MCRS) business is looking for a motivated Senior Program Manager with deep expertise in Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures (M&A/D) to join a high-performing team driving organizational transformation and excellence in regulatory and clinical functions. In this role, you will lead enterprise-level programs across the full deal lifecycle—due diligence, integration, and divestiture while leveraging your program management expertise, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and strategic leadership skills.

This role requires a results-driven leader with strong financial acumen, exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity with minimal SME support. Your decisions will shape the success of strategic transactions and impact patients globally, supporting Medtronic’s mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life for millions.

We value what makes you unique. Be a part of a company that thinks differently to solve problems, make progress, and deliver meaningful innovations.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Own Regulatory Affairs (RA) workstreams across the full deal lifecycle—due diligence, integration, and separation, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation
  • Partner with Corporate Development, Legal, Finance, and global RA teams to translate transaction strategies into actionable regulatory plans
  • Assess regulatory impact of structural changes (e.g., site transfers, product portfolio shifts, license migrations) and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead governance for RA deliverables, including submissions, notifications, and audits tied to M&A/D activities
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on regulatory timelines, dependencies, and resource planning
  • Provide executive-level reporting on regulatory risks, readiness, and compliance status during strategic transactions
  • Support change management and communication strategies to ensure smooth transitions for RA stakeholders globally
  • Lead cultural integration and communication strategies to support organizational alignment

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Program management experience
  • Proven experience managing M&A/D programs across multiple functions
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret Profit and Loss impacts
  • Demonstrated success influencing executive stakeholders and driving decisions in complex environments
  • Preferred background in manufacturing, operations, or other process-intensive environments
