We are looking for a Senior Security Analyst to help grow our business and contribute to our future. You will play a crucial role in leading risk assessments, cyber threat modeling, and security investigations while driving improvements in our cybersecurity tools and strategies.
Reporting to the Director, Cyber Security, other main responsibilities will include:
- Conducting risk and vulnerability assessment at the network, system and application levels.
- Conducting cyber threat modeling exercises with various tools.
- Following customer/contractually directed Vulnerability Assessment Process and Framework(s) to include documentation creation and review as it relates to the assessment, document risk/issues.
- Designs, tests, and implements secure operating systems, networks, security monitoring, tuning and management of IT security systems and applications, incident response, digital forensics, loss prevention.
- Conduct product and company research, evaluating and recommending new security tools, techniques, and technologies. Collaborate with team members and introduce changes and improvements in tools to the enterprise in alignment with the Cyber Security strategy.
- Assist in security investigations involving both internal (employees) and external (customers other external actors).
- Prepare and deliver Cyber Security reports for customers and internal stakeholders.
What you’ll need:
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Security Analyst, Network Administrator or System Administrator or similar role
- ITIL v4 foundations certification
- CISSP, CISA, CEH, GCIH, ECIH or similar certification preferred
- Understanding of ISO 27001 Information Security Incident Management (A16) controls and objectives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Experience as a trainer or facilitator
- Will possess a thorough understanding in a wide range of security tools, techniques and procedures, including vulnerability assessment architectures, network edge protection controls and observing electronic data traffic.
