Senior Service Advisor Fulltime

Reporting to our Service Manager this an exciting opportunity for an ambitious technically minded person to assist in the support of the running of the service department. The role requires experience working in a busy service desk in a motor dealership and will suit an applicant who is looking to progress their career in the motor industry.

Skills and experience:

  • excellent and demonstrable front line customer service and administrative skills and experience
  • at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role preferably in the motor industry
  • good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • good attention to detail for recording all relevant details in documentation and systems.
  • a working knowledge of vehicle management systems / Keyloop /Kerridge / Autoview distinct advantage
  • flexibility in your approach to work
  • Full, valid, current driving licence for driving in Ireland

About the role:

As a front line member of staff, you will always be a brand ambassador for the Spirit Motor Group ensuring our customer service is maintained to the highest standards, utilising manufacturer, company standards and best practice

You will be providing full end to end service when a customer confirms they wish to schedule a vehicle service booking or repair you by phone, email and walk-in including but not limited to:

  • meeting and greeting all service customers promptly and professionally
  • customer check-in and communications throughout the process
  • determining workshop availability for service, maintenance and repair work
  • ensuring vehicles are ready at the committed time, explaining clearly the work completed
  • All other relevant administration in relation to the end to end process for servicing and maintenance of customer vehicles including systems input, invoicing and daily management of ‘work-in-progress’
  • liaising with other teams in the business, management, reception, sales, warranty, parts
  • assisting with gathering customer service feedback
