Senior Site Engineer - Main Contractor

Thankfully we have already secured a very busy order book for 2025 and beyond, so we are looking for a Senior Site Engineer to join our team!

Key Responsibilities as Senior Site Engineer

  • You will be responsible for all setting out on site.
  • You will be responsible for the overall surveying of sites.
  • Planning work proficiently to meet programme targets.
  • Responsible for supporting the site team with the day to day running of the project.
  • Responsible for supervising and mentoring junior site engineers within the company.
  • Responsible for quantifying and ordering of materials for civils works.
  • Liaising with design team, structural & civil subcontractors and utility companies involved in the project.
  • Managing drawings onsite and up to date construction information.
  • Involved in QC and closing out inspection reports
  • Take the lead in finding resolutions to any technical issues.
  • Manage RFIs and submittals to the design team.
  • Liaising with Uisce Éireann and other service providers, to ensure that all works are completed to the required standard, recorded and signed off on an on-going basis to facilitate connection.
  • You will possess the ability to communicate clearly to all stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
  • Attending regular meetings with clients, architects and consultants, and keeping them informed of progress.
  • Supervise direct staff and sub-contractors.
  • Conduct your work in a safe manner and adhere to all Health & Safety regulations

We are looking for someone with :

  • Engineering Degree
  • 5 years + post graduate site engineering experience.
  • Setting Out and Surveying experience.
  • Confident in supervising site works.
  • A good understanding of Health & Safety.
  • Excellent communication skills & ability to work within a team.
  • Capable of building effective relationships at all levels.
