Description


The successful candidate will work as a senior manager in the Commercial Division and will be based in the elfc Shannon head office. They will manage frontline sales team globally in the execution of activities involving all other company disciplines including Portfolio, Technical, Legal, Risk, Finance & HR.


Role Responsibilities


  • Direct and manage the execution of the origination, portfolio remarketing and lease management activities of the frontline sales team.
  • Line management of the frontline sales team including periodic evaluation of performance, training needs and goal setting in accordance with the company’s HR strategies and processes.
  • Provide guidance to the frontline sales team to ensure that commercial objectives set by the Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Portfolio are achieved.
  • Guide and support deal team activities led by the frontline sales team to ensure that transactions and lease management tasks are managed and executed accurately and efficiently, including effective collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes.
  • Support the Chief Commercial Officer by providing commercial leadership and strategic input.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


Essential
  • Bachelors degree in a role-related discipline and 5-10 years’ experience in an aviation finance role, preferably in an engine leasing capacity.
  • Extensive demonstrable understanding of leasing / finance and the key provisions of operating leasing
  • Track record of successful transaction leadership in an aviation finance business.
  • Willingness to travel extensively at short notice.

Desired
  • Experience in effective team management.
  • Background of commercial activity interfacing with airline customers.
  • Experience in contract negotiation.
