Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen ability to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patrons enjoy their meals and have an enjoyable time at our establishment.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Toast POS systems.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and basic math calculations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and presentation.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring excellent guest relations throughout their visit.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and potential allergens to provide informed recommendations to guests.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Familiarity with OpenTable and Yelp for reservations management is a plus.
• Culinary experience or kitchen experience is beneficial for understanding menu items and preparation methods.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction and hospitality.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Base Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
