Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
• Take accurate orders using POS systems, and relay them to kitchen staff
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
• Assist with food preparation when necessary and maintain cleanliness of service areas
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cashiering and billing purposes
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
• Good communication skills and a professional appearance
• Experience in food industry roles such as serving, food preparation, or hospitality is a plus
