Summary

As a Service Dispatcher at Preferred Home Services, you will be instrumental in coordinating service calls and managing technician schedules to ensure timely responses to customer needs. This role is vital to our mission of delivering exceptional service while maintaining operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule service calls for plumbing and HVAC technicians.
  • Manage daily dispatch operations to ensure efficient routing and timely service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with technicians and customers regarding job status and updates.
  • Monitor service requests and prioritize based on urgency and customer needs.
  • Utilize dispatch software to track job progress and technician performance.
  • Assist in resolving any issues that arise during service calls to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities for reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with management to optimize scheduling processes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in dispatching or logistics within the service industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
  • Familiarity with dispatch software or transportation management systems is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions quickly.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Requirements

· High school diploma or GED.

· Valid SC driver’s license and a safe driving record.

· Authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
