About Us: McNeela Instruments is a leading provider of high-quality musical instruments and accessories. With a passion for music and a commitment to exceptional customer service, we take pride in delivering high quality products to musicians around the world. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Setup & Fulfilment Manager to join our dynamic team.
What this role offers
You step into an established fulfilment operation processing around 500 orders per week, with clear quality expectations, an existing team, and real volume. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who wants to lead from the floor, learn the detail properly, and keep standards high every day.
This role is suited to someone who likes being close to the work, has attention to detail, and wants to raise standards steadily over time. You are given the time, training and support to learn how things are done before taking full ownership.
What you get
- Clear ownership of the fulfilment floor and quality standards
- Defined preparation and inspection expectations
- Time and support to fully learn how products are finished and checked
- Authority that grows with understanding and consistency
- A senior salary aligned with responsibility
- A stable, long-term role in an established business
What your day looks like
- Leading the fulfilment team on the floor
- Planning daily and weekly workloads
- Making sure every order is checked before dispatch
- Training and signing off staff on preparation standards
- Staying fully involved in the work during busy periods
- Using quieter time to prepare products and orders ahead of demand
Quality responsibility
- Maintain consistent preparation and inspection standards
- Ensure 100% of orders meet quality requirements
- Catch issues early and correct them before dispatch
- Reduce returns and rework through strong floor control
Experience required
- Minimum 10 years experience in a similar role
- At least 5 years leading a hands-on team
- Proven people management in a fast-moving environment
- Experience owning quality and dispatch outcomes
- Please mention any experience using tools, assembling products, repairing items, or working with your hands in previous roles.
What matters most
- Strong floor presence and natural authority
- High personal standards and attention to detail
- Learns processes quickly and thoroughly
- Comfortable improving how things are done over time
- Calm, clear decision-making under pressure
- Happy staying hands-on, even when everything is running well
Who this role is perfect for
- A senior floor manager who values clear standards and consistency
- Someone who likes learning the detail of how things are done
- A leader who prefers being on the floor rather than behind a desk
- Someone who takes pride in work leaving right, every time
- A manager looking for a long-term role where quality matters
- If you enjoy practical work such as fixing things, building, assembly, tuning, or similar tasks, please include this in your application.
Important note
Musical instrument experience is not required. Full training will be provided on product preparation and inspection standards. If you have a drive for excellence and a desire to make a meaningful impact, apply now and highlight any relevant experience in a short cover letter along with your CV.
