Sheet Metal Worker

Are you a trade qualified sheet metal worker looking for a change?

Rockwell are currently looking for experienced Sheet Metal Workers in the Cork Region. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with sheet steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
• Read and interpret drawings, ensuring installations are completed to correct set-out and details provided.
• Observe and comply with all safety, quality, and project rules, along with company policies and procedures.
• Inspect worksite to determine presence of obstructions.
• Plan installation sequence to avoid obstructions and coordinate with other trades.
• Install ductwork and in-line equipment, volume control dampers, fire dampers, and reheat access coils.
• Ensure accurate sealing and testing of ductwork to required specifications.
• Fabricate and install unistrut brackets and threaded rod hangers.
• Fit access doors accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standard.
• Work with a variety of mechanical tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Requirements

• Trade Qualified.
• Previous work experience in Sheet Metal Work.
• Experience working on large-scale projects in Ireland or Europe.
• Experience operating machinery is an advantage.
• Proficient level of English.
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification are required.
• IPAF certification is an advantage
