Shipping And Receiving Clerk

Receives purchased materials, components, and supplies.

• Conducts first-stage receiving inspections in accordance with quality system procedures and applicable

inspection plans.

• Ships finished product in accordance with shipping plans.
• Interfaces with freight companies and drivers to ensure timely dispatch of shipments.
• Maintains the Company’s raw materials storage area(s), shipping staging area and finished products

warehouse.

• Performs job assignment duties in accordance with applicable quality and manufacturing procedures, work

instructions (verbal and written), good manufacturing practices and safety procedures.

• Operates small hand and power tools and equipment
• Operates powered stretch-wrap equipment.
• Operates electronic scales used to weigh parts and packaged product.
• Fills out and maintains shipping and receiving documents and records in accordance with job and

procedural requirements, including data entry into ERP system.

• Counts, wraps, packages, and/or labels finished product in accordance with work instructions (verbal and

written) and procedural requirements.

• Transfers stock and finished product either manually or by means of manually operated stock handling

equipment such as handcarts and pallet jacks. Upon successful completion of operator training and
qualification, operates a motorized lift-truck (forklift).

• Prepares shipping documents including, as appropriate, bills of lading; packing lists; product certification

documents; shipping labels; etc.

• Conducts monthly inventory cycle counts as directed.
