Site Working Foreman – Solar & Roofing Projects

KVL Construction Ltd. is a family-run company delivering renewable energy and roofing projects across the Republic of Ireland and the UK for 20 years. Our portfolio includes solar farms, commercial rooftop solar installations, domestic housing solar systems, and agricultural renewable energy projects.
Due to continued growth, we currently have an immediate vacancy for a Full-Time Site Working Foreman to join our hardworking and ambitious team. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role on site, managing crews, maintaining productivity, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a crew of installers on site, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to schedule
- Supervise daily site operations, allocating tasks and maintaining strong productivity across the team
- Report directly to the Managing Director, providing daily updates on site progress, labour, and any issues arising
- Ensure completion of all required site safety documentation and compliance procedures each day
- Coordinate site activities and workflow, ensuring works are carried out in line with project timelines and specifications
- Inspect and verify all materials prior to installation to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards
- Assist in ensuring all systems are completed and handed over to the client to KVL’s high standards
- Operate site machinery such as teleporter, bobcat, and other equipment when required
- Maintain high standards of site organisation, workmanship, safety, and team accountability
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- 5+ years’ experience in a foreman, supervisor, or lead installer role (strong candidates with less experience will be considered)
- Proven ability to manage and motivate crews on busy construction sites
- Good understanding of project coordination, scheduling, and maintaining site productivity
- Strong knowledge of building works and roofing systems, with a focus on safety and quality
- Ability to communicate clearly with management, clients, and site teams
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, organised, and capable of taking ownership of site operations
- Comfortable working on busy sites and at height in line with safety guidelines
- Proactive and diligent in maintaining site standards and team performance
- Previous management/foreman experience and a background in Health & Safety would be a strong advantage when being considered for shortlisting
Licences / Certifications
- Safe Pass Card (Required)
- Manual Handling Certificate (Required)
- Full Clean Driver’s Licence (Required)
- Telehandler CSCS Ticket (or willingness to obtain)
Salary & Benefits
- Salary from €50,000+ per year depending on experience with a possible bonus structure for meeting targeted production levels
- Company van provided
- 100% travel required Monday - Friday

Pay: €50,000.00-€55,000.00 per year
