Skilled Ground Worker & General Construction Operative

Job Description:

SHCL are seeking an experienced groundworker and general construction operative to join our site team on residential new build and renovation projects.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years grounwork and construction experience
• Must have a positive attitude
• Must be hardworking and reliable
• Maintain a high level of Health and Safety which includes the proper use of PPE
• Adhere to work instructions and procedures
• Current Safe Pass card
• Current Manual Handling cert
• Fluent spoken & written English

Skills required:

• Laying of foundations & concrete
• Laying drainage & building manholes
• Building rising walls & blockwork
• Demolition & steel erection
• Any additional tickets/training are beneficial (360 excavator, dumper, MEWP etc. )
