Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of smoothies, beverages, and light food items with precision and care
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and answering questions about menu options
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the smoothie bar area, adhering to food safety and handling standards
• Manage cash handling responsibilities including cash register operation and basic retail math for transactions
• Assist in food preparation tasks, ensuring all items meet quality standards and food safety regulations
• Support team members during busy periods by managing serving duties and ensuring timely order completion

Experience

• Previous barista or food service experience, especially within cafés or smoothie bars, is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in transaction processing
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy morning hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and basic math for cash handling and retail transactions
• Experience in coffee or beverage preparation is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
• Ability to work independently while being an active team player in a fast-paced environment
