Soc Analyst L1

We are looking for a dedicated SOC Analyst Level 1 to join our dynamic security operations team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for cybersecurity and a solid foundation in information technology. Key responsibilities include monitoring security alerts, incident identification, and initial triage of security events. The candidate should have a good understanding of common security technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint detection tools, as well as familiarity with network protocols and traffic analysis. The ability to perform basic investigations and carry out prescribed response procedures is crucial. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for the role. The candidate should be able to effectively communicate security incidents to stakeholders and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow in the field of cybersecurity. Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or GIAC, are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events.
• Perform initial triage of security incidents.
• Understand and work with various security technologies (SIEM, IDS/IPS, etc.).
• Analyze network traffic and logs.
• Execute prescribed incident response procedures.
• Communicate security incidents to stakeholders.
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development.
