Your IT Crew is a fast-growing, IT firm that Simplifying Technology Challenges for high-end clients. We are looking for a Social Media Intern to join our team and help us grow. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong work ethic, who is interested in learning about the IT industry.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Social Media Intern to join our team. As a Social Media Intern, you will play a crucial role in managing our company's social media accounts and executing engaging and effective social media campaigns. This internship opportunity will provide valuable hands-on experience and the potential for future growth within our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company's social media accounts: You will be responsible for creating and scheduling content across various social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and more. This includes writing engaging and relevant posts, selecting appropriate visuals, and ensuring consistent brand messaging.
  • Brainstorm campaign ideas: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative and impactful social media campaigns. Generate innovative ideas to engage our target audience and enhance brand visibility.
  • Monitor social media platforms: Regularly monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media channels. Engage with our audience in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Analyze campaign performance: Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze the performance of social media campaigns. Measure key metrics, such as engagement rates, reach, and conversions, to evaluate the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
  • Understand company goals and brand: Develop a deep understanding of our company's brand, target audience, products/services, and overall goals. Ensure that all social media content aligns with the brand's tone, messaging, and values.
  • Engage with customers/clients: Interact with our social media followers, customers, and potential clients in a friendly and professional manner. Provide assistance, answer questions, and redirect inquiries to appropriate departments, when necessary. Identify sales opportunities and collaborate with the sales team to convert leads.
  • Provide suggestions for improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience on social media platforms. Collaborate with the management team to implement improvements in social media strategies, processes, and internal workflows.
  • Assist with creating brand guidelines and social media content calendar
  • Assist with creating and managing social media content calendar for Your IT Crew
  • Assist in the creation of marketing collateral for use in social media campaigns
  • Help create a brand identity system to streamline content creation across all platforms (social, email, video, etc.)
  • Help create a system to manage all marketing assets (media, graphics, etc.)for use across all platforms (social, email, video, etc.)

Requirements:

  • No prior experience required; this is an entry-level position suitable for students or recent graduates.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) and their respective best practices.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms is a plus.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content ideas.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for social media marketing and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the field.
