Social Media Intern (Remote)

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Content Creation:
• Assist in creating, curating, and scheduling engaging content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
• Develop visually appealing graphics, videos, and other multimedia content using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to generate content ideas that align with the company’s brand and goals.
• Social Media Management:
• Monitor and manage Penciledge LLC's social media accounts, including responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
• Help maintain a consistent posting schedule and ensure timely updates on all platforms.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas for campaigns and social media strategies.
• Engagement and Growth:
• Assist in growing the company’s social media following by engaging with followers, influencers, and communities.
• Analyze social media metrics and provide insights to improve engagement and reach.
• Research and identify trends, hashtags, and topics relevant to the industry and audience.
• Campaign Support:
• Support the execution of social media campaigns, including contests, giveaways, and promotional events.
• Assist in the planning and coordination of influencer partnerships and collaborations.
• Track and report on the success of social media campaigns.
• Market Research:
• Conduct research on competitors’ social media activities and identify opportunities for differentiation.
• Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing software/tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with a passion for digital marketing and social media.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
