Social Media Manager

Des Kelly Interiors (DKI), a family-run business with over 50 years of experience, is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to lead and execute DKI’s social media and content strategy. Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Content Creation

• Develop and manage monthly content calendars aligned with DKI’s sales, promotions, and campaigns.
• Create, shoot, edit, and publish engaging content (video and still) across all social channels, focusing on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Regularly review and optimise DKI’s social media strategy to improve engagement and reach.
• Manage community engagement by responding to followers authentically and in a timely manner.
• Monitor and report on KPIs, including audience growth, impressions, and engagement metrics.

Field Work & Collaboration

• Visit DKI’s store locations and fitting jobs across Dublin, Kildare, and Meath to capture real-time content.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, influencers, videographers, and content collaborators to enhance DKI’s social media presence.
• Represent DKI at events or content opportunities, conducting yourself professionally as a brand ambassador.

Partnerships & Paid Media

• Work closely with external agencies managing paid social campaigns to ensure alignment with DKI’s goals.
• Act as the primary point of contact for agencies, ensuring budgets and ads are optimized for best results.
• Experience with paid social advertising is a plus.

Administrative & Team Collaboration

• Balance content creation with administrative responsibilities, including schedule management and collaboration with DKI’s marketing team.
• Work closely with DKI’s graphic design team to execute visuals and campaigns that align with DKI’s brand identity.

Requirements:

• A Leaving Certificate or equivalent education.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in social media management or content creation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to maintain DKI’s professional and engaging brand voice.
• An eye for visuals and aesthetic content, with the ability to work collaboratively with DKI’s designers.
• A full, clean driver’s license and access to a car for content-related travel.
• Proficiency in using social media analytics tools and content creation software.
• Passion for storytelling, creativity, and innovation in digital marketing.
