What We Need:
We're searching for a social media rockstar to join our team and help us deliver engaging content to our audience.

Who Are Our Customers:
We love helping athletes crush their goals, but we do so much more than that! Many of our customers shop with us for daily walking shoes and some have orthotics - we give you the tools and support to serve our customers with complete satisfaction.

What You'll Do:
Much of the content (professional photography) for social media posts is already provided by us

  • Execute creative social media strategies across mainly Instagram and Facebook
  • Draft email campaigns ready for approval and sending
  • Utilize our professional photography provided to create engaging content (photos, videos, stories, reels, posts) that reflects the energy and spirit of the running community
  • Engage with our audience, respond to comments/messages, and foster an online running community.
  • Collaborate our team for product launches, promotions, and in-store events.
  • Track analytics and generate reports to optimize content and growth strategies.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and running culture to keep our content fresh and relevant.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in social media management or content creation.
  • Passion for running and fitness (you speak the language of runners!).
  • Strong writing skills and a creative mindset.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and tools (Instagram, Facebook, Meta Business Suite, Canva, etc.).
  • Basic photography/videography and photo-editing skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 20 per week

  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Courtenay, BC V9N 7J5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
