As our Social Media Manager you will shape and execute Peak Performance’s global social media strategy, driving brand awareness, community engagement, and consumer activation. This exciting and dynamic role places you at the heart of our digital presence, where you’ll craft compelling content, build meaningful relationships with our followers, and ensure our brand voice resonates across platforms. You will also lead collaboration with influencers, ambassadors, and internal teams to amplify Peak Performance’s reach and relevance in the outdoor and lifestyle space.

As an international company on an exciting growth journey, we offer fantastic opportunities for development and to expand our global marketing network, working hand-in-hand with regional and cross-functional teams. You will be part of our Marketing team and report to the Head of Brand Marketing. Our HQ is based in Stockholm, but this role could be remote. The employment is a temporary position that aims to replace an employee on parental leave for approximately one year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive global social media strategy, aligning with brand objectives and campaigns across all channels and regions.
• Collaborate with creative, PR, and brand marketing teams to produce platform-specific content that enhances brand storytelling and engages audiences.
• Actively manage and foster online communities by engaging with followers, responding to inquiries, and building relationships with brand advocates.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, using insights to refine strategies and maximize impact.
• Partner with influencers, ambassadors, and external collaborators to expand the brand’s digital footprint.
• Stay on top of emerging trends, tools, and updates in social media to maintain an innovative and competitive edge.
• Support local teams in implementing the global social media strategy and adapting content for regional markets.

Job Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years of experience managing social media platforms for a global consumer brand or agency.
• Expertise in content creation, community management, and social media analytics.
• Proven success in collaborating with influencers and managing social campaigns end-to-end.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Exceptional storytelling skills, both visually and in writing.
• Experience working across global regions, with a keen understanding of market needs and differences across EMEA, Asia and North America.
• Strong technical knowledge of social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, native insights).
• Excellent communication skills in English (Swedish is a plus).
• A personal connection to and passion for the outdoor and active lifestyle.
