Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Coach to lead our Teen Social Media Marketing & Content Creation Masterclass. This 6-week course is designed for high school students (ages 14-18) who want to build professional content creation skills and strategic marketing knowledge. The ideal candidate has a strong background in digital marketing, content creation, and teaching or mentoring teens.
Course Outline:
This 6-week course introduces teens to social media marketing and content creation fundamentals. Below is a general outline of the current course structure, which can be adjusted based on your teaching style and expertise.
Week 1: Marketing Strategy & Brand Development
Week 2: Content Creation Fundamentals
Week 3: Platform Deep Dive – Instagram & TikTok
Week 4: Advanced Content & YouTube
Week 5: Analytics & Optimization
Week 6: Marketing Launch & Growth Strategy
We are also open to developing additional courses based on your qualifications and specialties. For example, you could design courses tailored to specific industries, such as:
- Social media marketing for musicians, artists, or writers
- Strategies for small business owners or entrepreneurs
- Advanced content creation techniques
Key Responsibilities
- Teach engaging online classes that focus on strategic marketing, content creation, platform management, and professional development.
- Provide personalized mentorship to students, helping them discover their authentic voice and develop a professional social media presence.
- Develop lesson plans and activities tailored to beginner and intermediate students, ensuring content aligns with course goals.
- Guide students in creating a content portfolio, including videos, images, and written posts, with constructive feedback.
- Help students understand platform-specific algorithms, metrics, and strategies for long-term growth.
- Foster an entrepreneurial mindset and confidence in students, emphasizing practical skills applicable to real-world opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven expertise in social media marketing, content creation, and platform management.
- Teaching or mentoring experience, particularly with teens (ages 14-18).
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to break down complex concepts in an engaging way.
- Up-to-date knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Enthusiasm for inspiring young minds to explore their creative potential and entrepreneurial goals.
Preferred Experience
- Experience creating and managing content for professional social media accounts or brands.
- Familiarity with video editing tools, graphic design platforms (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite), and analytics tools.
- Experience working with diverse student populations in a virtual environment.
