We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Developer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or entry-level candidate to start their career in software development and gain hands-on experience working on real-world projects.
You will be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications, while working closely with a collaborative and supportive team.
Working Hours
This is a night-shift role based in New Zealand:
- 1:00 AM – 9:30 AM NZT (40 hours per week)
- The role operates during these hours to align with United States business hours, allowing real-time collaboration with international clients and teams
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and developing software applications and systems
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Support development of APIs and backend services
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues
- Participate in testing and improving application performance
- Work with databases to store, retrieve, and manage data
- Collaborate with team members on development tasks and projects
- Contribute to system improvements, scalability, and security
- Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation
Skills & Requirements
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as C#, .NET, Java, or similar
- Understanding of web applications and software development concepts
- Familiarity with databases (SQL or similar) is an advantage
- Exposure to API development or system integrations is beneficial
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Suitable for graduates or candidates with little to no professional experience
- Relevant academic projects, internships, or personal projects are a plus
