Your role and responsibilities
** Winter 2025 full-time internship located in Dorval, with 2 days per week in the office ** As a Software Development Intern, you will work under the supervision of a member of the embedded software team. You will be assigned tasks to help the team implement new procedures and structures aimed at improving the quality of embedded software. This internship contributes to ABB's Electrification, Smart Buildings division and is based in Dorval. Responsibilities: • Set up unit tests. • Validate and improve documentation. • Participate in the design and setup of a simulator.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s degree student in Software Engineering (ideally in 3rd year).
- Knowledge of GIT (source control management).
- Basic knowledge of the Office suite: Word and Excel.
- Basic knowledge of C, C++, and C# programming.
- Knowledge of the French language.
- Asset: familiarity with Scrum/Agile environment.
