Software Engineer .Net – Angular C#

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing business requirements, designing appropriate software solutions, and delivering applications using IT best practices. The candidate will be expected to maintain, troubleshoot, and use full Microsoft toolset to develop various projects in enterprise level MS SQL database systems.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design and develop MVC and Angular web applications
• Design and develop .NET REST API’s
• Contribute to the development of the .NET backend of existing web applications
• Contribute to the delivery of high qulaity software together with the team
• Adhere to industry best practices and internal standards
• Follow the guidelines and recommendations of the team and other key stakeholders
• Develop strong working relationships within the wider teams

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Software Development / Engineering and the following technical skills :
• Advance knowledge of C#
• Solid experience with .NET Framework and Core
• Solid experience with ASP. NET MVC and SQL Server
• Solid expreience with Angular, Typescript, Javascript and/or NodeJS
• Experience developing RESTful API’s
• Experience with HTML, CSS
• Experience with source code control systems, ideally GIT/Azure DevOps
• Strong background in Object-Oriented design and programming
• The ability to think critically
• A desire to learn new domains and technologies
• Good interpersonal and team work skills
• Attention to detail and quality

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Postman/Swagger and related tools
• Experience with Microsoft Azure

Educational Requirments

IT degree qualification in a technical field (Computer Science or Engineering)
