Solar Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of solar panel systems on residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with power tools, and a passion for renewable energy. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that solar installations are completed efficiently and safely.

Duties

• Install solar panels and associated equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted systems.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools to assemble and secure solar components.
• Perform electrical work related to solar installations, including low voltage wiring.
• Operate heavy equipment such as bucket trucks for elevated installations.
• Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement of solar panels.
• Dig trenches for electrical conduit installation as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site throughout the installation process.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment operation.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical specifications.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, particularly low voltage applications.
• Experience in welding is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work at heights using bucket trucks safely.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor as required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.55-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

• Bonus pay

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
