Southeast Asia Prestige & Lifestyle Training Manager

The Opportunity

In this role, you will report into the Sales & Marketing Function of Southeast Asia and will drive education and training initiatives for Puig’s multiple fragrance and makeup brands. Your mission is to design and implement training programs for brand ambassadors, driving sellout and consumer loyalty across multiple channels in region.

What you'll get to do

Partnership with Global Education and Training

• Build strong partnership with the brands’ Training teams to understand brand strategies and tools.
• Provide feedback on HQ-provided training materials and provide insights on local needs.

Training Strategy

• Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial teams to develop training plans tailored to the region.
• Maintain consistent communication and updates on training plans with all key internal and external stakeholders.
• Plan and manage the assigned annual training budget.

Training Design, Delivery and Evaluation

• Review and adapt global training materials for each brand, market and channel.
• Develop local training materials when not available from HQ.
• Conduct training workshops personally and manage translations to ensure relevance.
• Train the trainers of local partners and distributors, so that the local BAs/BRs are trained subsequently.
• Involved in press events to deliver presentations on new product launches if required.
• Provide post training evaluation reports for review with marketing and commercial teams to determine if short term adjustments are needed to the annual training plan.

We'd love to meet you if you have

• Experience: 5-8 years of experience in training roles, within the cosmetics or FMCG Industry, with some years of experience in fragrances.
• Education: Degree holder and/or have professional training credentials.
• Language: Able to train and facilitate workshops in English; language proficiency in Mandarin, Malay or Bahasa is a plus.
• Skills:
  • Strong planning & communication skills.
  • Excellent facilitation skills and training administration skills.
  • Deadline-oriented and independent.
  • Ability to develop and plan content in relation to selling and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) preferred.
• Awareness of multi-media platforms and education trends in the industry.
• Ability to travel about 40%-50% of the time.
