Based in Singapore and reporting to the Metadata Operations Manager in Singapore, this Specialist, Metadata Operations role will be supporting the larger Operations team in Singapore and Korea in title launches.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for onboarding all necessary metadata of new content, this includes:
- Communicating with external partners on metadata requirements and delivery schedule
- Researching on the licensed content to fill in the gaps for metadata fields
- Working closely with designers and copywriters to create artwork and promotional copies that best represents each content
- Liaising with localization partners to translate and localize content metadata to align with each target market's preference
- Maintain and organize assets received in our digital asset management system
- Ensure all content metadata is up to date on our content management system
- Manage and coordinate metadata delivery for contents licensed to partner platforms
- Work with the content, product and engineering teams to organize and evolve our metadata and associated features to improve content discovery for our users
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in broadcast/media industry
- Experience fulfilling and managing large sets of assets in complex asset management environments
- Deep understanding of metadata systems, with an eye for continuous improvement
- Effective communicator in English and Chinese or Korean
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite tools like Photoshop and Premiere Pro
- Proficiency in the Google Suite, Amplitude, or other database or reporting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a self-starter, navigate effectively in ambiguity, and willingness to pivot as needed.
- Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders, prioritizing tasks and escalating issues as needed
- Passion in Asian dramas, especially K-Dramas and C-Dramas, is a plus!
