Speech-Language Pathologist Home Health Part Time (Bilingual Preferred)

The Speech & Language Place is seeking a compassionate, motivated Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide Early Intervention (birth to 3 years) services in the child's natural environment. This position focuses exclusively on infants and toddlers with developmental delays and communication disorders, working closely with families to provide individualized, play-based, family-centered intervention.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations for infants and toddlers.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans based on evaluation findings and each child's unique needs.
• Provide engaging, play-based therapy sessions in the child's home or other natural environments.
• Collaborate with families, service coordinators, physicians, and other Early Intervention providers to support a coordinated, family-centered approach to care.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings as appropriate.
• Coach and educate parents and caregivers on strategies to support communication development during everyday routines.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, re-evaluations, progress notes, IFSP documentation, and all required Early Intervention paperwork.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems as needed for documentation.
• Stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology and Early Intervention through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current California Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility for licensure).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply if supervision is available.
• Experience working with infants, toddlers, and young children is required.
• Previous Early Intervention and/or pediatric home health experience is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with standardized Early Intervention assessments, including the BDI-3 (Battelle Developmental Inventory, Third Edition) and REEL-4 (Receptive-Expressive Emergent Language Test, Fourth Edition), is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of child development, speech and language disorders, family-centered intervention practices, and the Early Intervention model.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems is a plus.
• Spanish/English bilingual candidates are strongly preferred.
