About our group:

Our Sputter Source Maintenance Team is pivotal in maintaining the performance and source availability of our 200L Tool Usage and Conversion Upgrade systems. Our team is involved and responsible in Component’s Rebuilt & Maintenance Activities of the sputter source. About the role - you will:

As a Sputter Source Maintenance Intern, you will be reporting to Sputter Source Maintenance Supervisor and support the Sputter Source operations, maintaining the synergy between technology and people:

  • Developing an Inventory Management System for component levels based on Seagate’s Bill of Materials (BOM) drawings.

  • Creating a Monitoring System to track component usage on a weekly/quarterly basis using data from the PM (Preventive Maintenance) Team’s service records.

  • Gaining hands-on experience with different types of 200L sources used in lean tools by learning their functions and specifications.

  • Assisting in setting up a Workbench Layout and Tooling Cabinet based on the PM Team's tooling list, ensuring it is well-organized and efficient.

  • Collaborating with your supervisor to update and enhance the Troubleshooting Flow Chart based on the current maintenance checklist.

Your experience includes:

  • Diploma in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering or any relevant fields
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel for formulas or macro setting.
  • Possess Creative qualities, good communication skills will be an advantage.

Location:

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.
