BASIC FUNCTION AS STAFF NURSE
A Registered Nurse (RN) that can be assigned to different nursing areas is a licensed healthcare professional who plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive and quality care to patients outside of the hospital setting. RNs perform a variety of essential functions. Registered Nurses demonstrate clinical expertise, critical thinking skills, and compassion in their delivery of care, contributing to positive patient experiences and optimal health outcomes in the outpatient setting.
1. Patient Assessment:
Conducts thorough assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints, to assist in determining appropriate care plans.
2. Triage and Prioritization:
Prioritizes patient appointments and interventions based on the severity of their conditions, ensuring timely access to care for those with urgent needs.
3. Patient Education:
Provides education to patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, medications, and self-care techniques to promote understanding and compliance.
4. Medication Management:
Administers medications as prescribed by healthcare providers, monitoring patients for adverse reactions, and providing education on medication use and side effects.
5. Care Coordination:
Collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, including physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and administrative staff, to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
6. Procedure Assistance:
Assists healthcare providers during medical procedures, examinations, and treatments by preparing equipment, positioning patients, and providing support and assistance as needed.
7. Documentation:
Maintains accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, interventions, responses, and other pertinent information in electronic health records (EHR) or paper charts, ensuring completeness and compliance with regulatory standards.
8. Patient Advocacy:
Advocates for patients' needs and rights, addressing concerns or complaints, and ensuring that patients receive compassionate and respectful care throughout their healthcare journey.
9. Infection Control:
Adheres to infection control protocols, including hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and proper handling and disposal of medical waste, to minimize the risk of healthcare-associated infections.
10. Quality Improvement:
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Graduate of BS in Nursing.
2. Must be a registered nurse with PRC license.
3. Newly passed board passers are welcome to apply.
4. Must be willing to work in Makati City
5. Flexible, agile, and willing to be assigned to different nursing areas/hospital areas.
6. Effectively skill in patient care.
Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate
Pay: Php28,000.00 - Php31,000.00 per month
