Startup Event Representative (Tech / Web Summit Vancouver)

We are seeking a confident, articulate, and professional individual to represent an innovative health-tech startup at Web Summit Vancouver.

This role is ideal for someone with strong communication, marketing, and business development experience who is comfortable engaging with attendees, including potential partners and investors.

Responsibilities:

• Represent the company at the event booth and during networking sessions
• Clearly explain the product and its value proposition to a wide audience
• Engage and attract attendees, including potential investors and partners
• Support lead generation and relationship building during the event
• Assist with overall brand presence and audience interaction

Requirements:

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in marketing, sales, business development, or startup environments
• Confidence speaking with professionals, including investors and executives
• Ability to quickly understand and communicate a tech product
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Preferred:

• Familiarity with startups, health-tech, AI, or digital platforms
• Experience attending or working at conferences or trade shows
• Background in business, marketing, or communications

Details:

• Location: Vancouver Convention Center (Web Summit event venue)
• Duration: 1–2 event days + 2 paid preparation sessions
• Compensation: Paid $35-$40
