State Contract Specialist

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Contract Specialist/Conveyancer to lead a team of Contract Specialists dedicated to Levande's QLD and VIC portfolio. This is a leadership role responsible for managing the end-to-end contract process for residents entering and exiting our villages in these States, while also providing leadership, guidance, and mentoring to the Contract Services team members for which you are responsible.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a pod of Contract Specialists, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Represent Contract Services as a key stakeholder in critical projects across the business
• Implement cost and time saving initiatives through the improvement of processes and adoption of AI
• Optimise legal, financial, and documentation processes
• Drive exceptional V2O outcomes and customer experiences for residents
• Manage the end-to-end exit process and ensure timely completion of lodgement and archiving.
• Support greenfield developments and the redevelopment of villages where necessary
• Maintain compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements
• Provide strategic support for the Legal Team

What We’re Looking For
Essential

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in legal, paralegal or similar role
• Proven experience managing teams
• Strong understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory framework
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working as part of a cross-function group
• Experience with systems such as D365, Salesforce, SharePoint, DocuSign
• Strong customer focus and empathy

Lawyer or Conveyancing / Real Estate background
