Stocker / Cashier

We are looking for long term employees who can perform cashier duty along side restocking. This is a night shift job with cashier needing to be comfortable in fast pace environment.

Salary can be paid in cash for those who do not own bank account.

Duties

• Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are organized, labeled correctly, and replenished promptly to maintain an appealing store appearance
• Operate the cash register using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handling transactions accurately and swiftly
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product locations or recommendations
• Conduct product demos when appropriate to highlight features and encourage sales, upselling where possible to enhance customer experience
• Maintain proper cash handling procedures, balancing registers and managing cash or card payments with integrity
• Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays and ensuring promotional materials are current and eye-catching
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers using clear phone etiquette and active listening skills

Experience

• Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math is advantageous
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Supervising experience in retail or grocery environments is beneficial for those interested in leadership opportunities
• Strong communication skills combined with a friendly demeanor help foster positive customer interactions
• Experience in grocery stores or similar fast-paced retail settings will support success in this role
