Strategic Account Manager Private - Sweden | Alcon
As Strategic Account Manager you to join the growing Strategic Accounts Team. This newly created role will be pivotal in managing and expanding relationships with private clinics, ensuring to continue to deliver first-in-class ophthalmic surgical products and services. The position will primarily focus on defending and retaining market share while exploring growth opportunities in the expanding private clinic sector.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Account Management Oversee strategic accounts in Sweden, with a focus on private clinics. Maintain and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers such as purchasing heads, quality managers, and CEOs.
Internal Collaboration Work closely with internal teams (customer service, finance, compliance, legal) to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues. Drive internal processes forward, including price approvals and global initiatives piloted in the Nordics.
Strategic Development Collaborate with your future manager and colleague Jussi to develop and enhance processes and practices within the strategic account management team.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as follows:
  • Sales growth and profitability within strategic accounts
  • Successful collaboration with internal teams and development of improved processes
Ideal Candidate Profile:
You have proven experience as a Key Account Manager (KAM) working with private clinics, particularly in the surgical or ophthalmology sectors. Alternatively, experience as a KAM with other medical products, provided you have dealt with private clinics and their decision-makers. Another possibility could be KAM experience with ophthalmology products in the OTC category or a strong background as a territory manager in ophthalmology could be considered.
