The team helps sellers to market their products across the 7 markets and provide enabling services such as cross border logistics, operations, payments, product related services, overseas warehouse fulfillment and business intelligence. About the Team:
Shopee International Platform (SIP) maximizes assortment availability to our buyers in all local markets, and supports local sellers/brands to grow into global sellers/brands with Shopee. The team comprises all business sub-functions including Commercial, Operations, Financial Planning and Analytics, and Strategic Projects. You will be part of an entrepreneurial and collaborative team aspiring to bring high strategic impact to all Shopee local markets, cross-border selling and infrastructure, commercial growth, operational excellence, and new business and capability at whole platform level
Job Description:
- Take ownership of high-impact regional projects to strengthen assortment availability to our buyers in all local markets
- Identify growth opportunities and scope projects to capture the opportunities and drive for commercial excellence
- Define clear project objectives, monitor project progress, and inspire the adoption of planning and execution best practices
- Collaborate closely with local and regional stakeholders, conducting analysis to define targets and priorities, and develop action plans to reach project goals
- Track progress, identify blockers and propose solutions with key stakeholders to move the project forward
- Utilise strong analytical skills and a hands-on, pragmatic approach to deliver measurable results
Requirements:
- 3 - 6 years of experience in strategy consulting / in-house strategy / management trainee programs
- Experience in Tech/e-Commerce industry is a plus
- Ability to apply analytical thinking towards business problems
- Experience in working with data, drawing insights, developing reporting templates, and devising practical data-driven solutions
- Excellent stakeholder management skills to manage senior and cross-functional stakeholders
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills to coordinate processes and projects involving internal and external stakeholders
- Outstanding project management skills, manage project progress and achieve goals in a timely manner
- Ability to view different aspects of a project from a macro perspective while having an eye for detail
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment
- Strong work ethic and excellent ownership
