MENCK is looking for a Student Intern for a 5-month internship at its Tuas South Avenue facility in Singapore. This hands-on opportunity will help you develop technical and software skills, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and learn from experienced mentors. You’ll also gain exposure to MENCK’s equipment, industry terminologies, and function testing under the guidance of senior technicians and engineers.

Duties/Responsibilities

Works closely with senior technicians/ service engineers in carrying out assigned maintenance repair works of equipments

Familiarises with internal software systems and be proficient in the assigned day to day task/activitities

Prepares drawings and update tasks in sharepoint regularly

Resolves motor, pump and hydraulic problems in alignment with service engineers‘ instructions and guidance

Communicates regularly with service engineers on the assigned tasks. Provides timely progress updates of the assigned tasks, including feedback on possible delays and/or conflict of priorities

Handles and manages the necessary housekeeping tasks on a daily basis

Understands and adheres to the requirements of workplace, health, safety and environment legislation, processes and procedures

Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisors

Requirements

Diploma in Engineering related (Mechatronics/Electrical/Mechanical)

Energetic and willingness attitude to learn new and challenging stuff
