Studio Host

Yoga Health Center is a family owned and operated business, for the past 27 years, located in the heart of charming downtown San Carlos at the corner of Laurel & Cherry Streets, beside Peet’s Coffee & Tea.

We are looking for people who want to grow and exceed expectations within a yoga, fitness and health based organization.

We are a community-based culture and are seeking studio hosts who have experience working positively with customers who are delightful and challenging. Think: “service with a smile.”

A studio host is our ambassador who greets and checks in classes and manages the studio experience through a detailed checklist of defined processes. A studio host contributes to and enhances Yoga Health Center’s inclusive culture of community, fitness and harmony in a way that’s welcoming and clear.

Job Skills Required

A studio host takes initiative, proactively seeks knowledge, understands how to prioritize and manage time, operates at a high level of integrity, excels in a sales role, and consistently demonstrates friendly and firm customer service skills.

• Part time in the studio, minimum of 8-hours / wk
• 1 - 3 years of customer service or sales experience preferred
• Familiarity and aptitude with MBO (MindBodyOnline) is a plus
• Willingness to pick up extra shifts, including weekends and evenings, when needed
• Reliable in terms of coming to work on time and staying until the job is completed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

• Evening shift (4 PM - 9 PM)

• Weekend shifts

Ability to commute/relocate:

• SAN CARLOS, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
