About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide deep expertise in finance and accounting processes and support operational teams, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is an individual contributor position with strong exposure to regional and global stakeholders across multiple business lines.

You will play a key role in driving process excellence, ensuring compliance, and supporting transformation initiatives in a dynamic shared services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert supporting end-to-end finance and accounting processes
• Provide expert input on projects, ensuring adherence to standard methodologies, RACI, and timelines
• Partner with operations teams to review processes and recommend improvements using data and performance metrics
• Develop, review, and maintain process documentation, reports, and training materials
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, effectiveness, and automation
• Investigate issues and conduct root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
• Define, analyze, and report KPIs, SLAs, and business metrics
• Identify and manage operational and project risks
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Shared Services or BPO environment
