Day - 08 Hour (United States of America) Healthcare Summer 2025 Administrative Internship Program – High School (On-Site)

When you join us as an Intern, you will become a part of this legacy of leading-edge, coordinated, and compassionate care. You will gain valuable experience in your selected field and gain exposure to an invigorating business environment that includes interacting with leaders in various areas.
As an intern in an on-site role, you will be working with your peers and leaders in SHC (Stanford Health Care) location daily.

Our High-School Summer Internship program includes focus areas such as Housekeeping and Environmental Services, Supply Chain and Distribution Center, Sterile Processing, Anesthesia Clinic, and more. Interns will participate in various performance and quality improvement projects, gain insights into department operations and support current department in preparing for future initiatives
Interns will gain valuable experience and skills, including flexibility, critical thinking, resourcefulness, and independence, through various projects and tasks.

A Brief Overview
The purpose of this job is to gain practical experience in healthcare administration and operations by contributing to a specific department project or initiative.

What you will do
- Observe and/or audit existing processes to understand different perspectives and/or share findings
- Assist with qualitative and quantitative data gathering for initiatives to support analysis
- Draft project deliverables and other materials
- Present findings and results to internal audiences
Education Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Currently enrolled in high school or equivalent educational program Required
- At least 18 years of age or able to obtain a Work Permit Required

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $22.18 - $27.18 per hourThe salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
