IT Security
A cybersecurity internship is an opportunity to learn skills to help you learn and grow. We're looking for technologists who understand the fundamentals and principles of technology and who want to solve business problems in a large, complex environment dedicated to our missions of healthcare, research in medicine and teaching using the tools and discipline of enterprise cybersecurity. While we may evaluate your knowledge of a particular technology, we care more about your passion and aptitude for utilizing the right tool for the right job, even if that tool hasn't been created yet.
Education: working on a bachelor’s degree or higher in Security in Engineering, Computers Science, or related field, from an accredited college or university preferred, but not required
License/Certification: CISM or GIAC certification helpful but not required

Bio-Medical Engineering: supports all patient and clinical care medical devices in inpatient and outpatient facilities
Facilities and Campus Transformation: represents IT in all construction and renovation projects across the organization

A Brief Overview
The purpose of this job is to gain practical experience in health care operations and administration through contributions to department operations and initiatives.
Locations
Stanford Health Care - Palo Alto, California
What you will do
- Assist with detailed data gathering for initiatives, including synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data from a variety of sources
- Draft project deliverables that summarize key findings and propose solutions
- Interface with clinicians, employees, and leaders to share results and gain input
- Present findings and results to internal audiences
- Other special projects and duties as assigned.
Education Qualifications
- High School Graduate, at least 18 years old, and entering or returning to undergraduate studies at an accredited school in the fall

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $25.30 - $32.26 per hourThe salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
