Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of book covers, including front covers, full wraps, and eBook formats.
- Create and refine visual assets for marketing campaigns, including social media graphics, promotional materials, and advertisements.
- Collaborate with editors, authors, and marketing teams to translate manuscript themes into engaging visual concepts.
- Support the preparation of print-ready and digital files, ensuring designs meet publishing specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct research on current design trends in publishing, including typography, layout, and genre-specific aesthetics.
- Organize and maintain design files, templates, and project assets.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative concepts for upcoming titles and campaigns.
Experience
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program related to Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Publishing, Communications, or a similar field. Experience may substitute this requirement.
- Previous graphic design experience is required.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) or equivalent software.
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design principles.
- Ability to take creative direction and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
- Passion for books and interest in the publishing industry.
- A portfolio of previous design work may be requested by the hiring manager.

Compensation
