Civil Engineering at Fulton Hogan Civil engineering stands as a fundamental pillar within our business, integral to all our infrastructure projects encompassing bridges, retaining walls, motorways, water networks, flood recovery initiatives and road maintenance. Intern - Civil Engineer in Gisborne As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical/professional experience in Civil Engineering while contributing to real projects and initiatives. This internship will commence November 2024 and end February 2025. This role is designed to provide you with hands-on experience of our company's day-to-day operations, our values-based culture, and the civil contracting industry.

In addition to the above you will:

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is studying towards a tertiary qualification (Diploma or Degree) in Civil Engineering at a recognised NZ tertiary institute.
• Holds a NZ/AU Citizenship or NZ Permanent Residency, at time of application.
• Has a passion for hands on contracting work and enjoys practical onsite work.
• Likes working in a team.
• Is reliable, organised, and brings a can-do attitude.
• Has a full class 1 licence (preferred).
