Summer Internship Automation

We’re looking for a summer intern to join our Test Environments department, where you will be part of an Automation team responsible for developing and maintaining tools, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices to enable test automation in our Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments. Our team supports test teams from sister departments by providing a flexible test automation framework, tools, and infrastructure to automate their tests and execute them seamlessly in HIL environments.

As an intern, your role will be supporting the maintenance and enhancement of our test automation framework using AI technologies, improving code optimization and organization, and updating our documentation. You will also be able to contribute to the optimization of our AI tools and support the team’s mission of enabling efficient and scalable automation.

What You'll Do:

• Assist in maintaining and improving our test automation framework.
  
• Use AI tools to support framework improvements and code documentation.
  
• Code optimization, testing, and debugging skills will be required.
  
• Update and create documentation for the framework, tools, and processes.
  
• Contribute to the optimization of internal tools that make automation and CI/CD processes more efficient.

Who You Are:

• A background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  
• Experience in coding or scripting (Python is preferred).
  
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  
• An interest in AI tools and how they can be used in software development.
  
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
  
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Internship Information

• Location: Gothenburg, Sweden. No relocation support is offered.
• Salary: Paid at a fixed hourly rate.
• Duration: You need to be available for a full-time internship. The start date for this internship will be the beginning of June and will be ongoing for about 10 weeks. Details are to be discussed with the recruiting manager.
• Requirements: You need to have a legal permit to live and work in Sweden.
