Superintendent / Foreman - Civil Engineering - Cdi W/M

YOUR MISSIONS

The STEGRA project, located in Boden, Sweden, involves the construction of a green steel mill and an electrolysis plant, powered by renewable electricity and water from the Lule River. The goal is to produce 5 million tonnes of high-quality green steel by 2030. The work includes:

• Water Treatment Plant (WT2)

• Hydrogen Manufacturing Plant (HMP)

You will join a fast-moving, international team and take on a critical operational role as Function Superintendent / Foreman, with responsibility for technical execution and workforce management on site.

YOUR MAIN TASKS

Reporting to the Site Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the implementation of health and safety regulations on site.

• Organising and ensuring the proper functioning of the site in a clear and orderly manner with team leaders.

• Coordinating all activities (subcontracted and self-delivered) safely within your work area.

• Maintaining and managing storage areas for your team’s activities.

• Ensuring site tidiness and cleanliness in your supervision zones.

• Organising the different work phases for workers and subcontractors in coordination with site management.

• Assigning teams according to their function and the site programme.

• Organising reception, quality control and storage of construction materials and equipment.

• Overseeing internal quality control performed by workers.

• Complying with company policies and procedures.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.

• Experience as a Superintendent / Foreman in civil works, ideally with bridge or structural works experience (earthworks profiles not suitable).

• English required

• Ability to act as on-site interpreter between Sweden clients and international teams.

• Strong organisational and communication skills.

• Autonomy, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
